Collect online via Funeral-Notices - we do all the work for you
Cloudberry & Reach plc (formerly Trinity Mirror plc) have teamed up to offer you a simple, effective, fixed-cost, online donation collections service to go with an obituary notice placed in one of their 200 UK publications.
Largest tribute site in the UK
Funeral-Notices is the UK’s largest tribute site publishing over 120,000 obituary notices p.a. These notices all appear in one of Reach’s 200 local and regional newspapers across the UK, as well as on line at funeral notices.
Working together, we have now developed our software to allow us jointly to offer a complete online donations service to UK funeral directors. For a fixed fee of just £8 per notice, we can add online collections to the page.
Just add the option tell us the charity and we do the rest,
You can Reach the funeral director team on 03444 060 276 (during office hours) or via mail at firstname.lastname@example.org
WE DO ALL THE WORK FOR YOU
Its so easy, just add online collections when you place your Obituary Notice with Reach, tell them the charity, group or cause the family wish to collect for and together, we do the rest!
Donors go to the Funeral-Notices website - the online home for all Reach’s obituary notices. Click the donate button, add their details and in 30 seconds their donation is added. They can also add tributes, light candles and upload photos and videos in memory.
The collection is live for 8 weeks, after which we send the money (and if applicable the Gift Aid details to claim) to the charity, group or cause and send you, the funeral director, a report of all donations received - for you to pass onto the family. We ask the recipient of the funds to acknowledge receipt to yourselves, to complete the process.
Reach offer this whole service for an additional cost on top of the notice of just £8.
HElPING collect for charities & groups
Most online systems only let you collect for registered charities, but with ours, you can also choose local groups and sports clubs, or even for an inscribed wooden bench - to go in the local park.
As long as you, the funeral director, are satisfied with the cause, we can set it up for you. We even get some crowd funding collections, to help pay for the cost of the funeral - especially if it was unexpected.
For registered charities, we also collect Gift Aid for them to claim, boosting each donation by 25% and if its for a large charity, you can specify the local group, ward, team etc. the money is to go to.
And vitally, unlike others, we take NOTHING from the donation except the card transaction fees at cost.
